We are using the Covey 7 Habits of Happy Kids this year school wide. The children will be encouraged and taught that they are responsible for their choices and to make good decisions. We use the S.T.A.R. card in 3rd grade which you will be asked to sign each Friday. A consequence for a poor choice is a hole punch and 5 minutes out of recess.
The Milestone Test will begin on Tuesday, April 11th. It will continue through Monday, April 18th. Please help your child to prepare for the test by reviewing all unit packets, practicing math facts with flashcards or computer games, and by working on Study Island. It is a very important test, and we want each student fully prepared and ready to do his/her best. Thank you.
